Answers:

How do you know the reports are true & not a prank by fellow teens?

At GoTellMom.com we try and take the necessary steps to ensure your incident reports are accurate. When taking an online report we ask for a name and require an email address so the parents may be able to contact the reporter for more information.

In regards to phone reports, if we receive more than 1 call from the same number to report multiple incidents it brings that number into question for further review. We will have a rep contact this number to confirm report(s).

GoTellMom acts as a reporting agency to the family of the offending teen. Since we are never at the scene of the incident, nor do we know the parties involved we can't guarantee that "kids won't be kids" and pranks won't be played.

Remember, by just having that bumper sticker on your TEEN'S car helps keep them safely driving as the idea that a report could be filed at anytime helps deter unsafe driving habits.

Will my teen be issued a traffic violation by the Police if they are reported?

No, not at all. The goal at GoTellMom is to be proactive with your teen's driving. While receiving a traffic violation ticket is a good way to curb your teen's bad driving, the police do not have the resources to catch everyone (as much as they'd like to).

Go Tell Mom acts a reporting agency for teen driving like the Better Business Bureau. We do not work for or release information to the police. Anyway, we were always more scared about what Mom & Dad would do to us if we got in trouble…they come up with cruel and unusual punishments that are effective!

Is my information confidential?

The information we send and report is confidential between the teen, the family and the reporter. We DO NOT ASK FOR LICENSE PLATE numbers.

Can I use this service for Adult or Senior Citizens?

Statistically speaking, teens are the most dangerous drivers and then comes the Senior Citizens. If you would like to use this service for Senior Citizens or ANYONE then please do so! Just make sure you pick the bumper sticker that says "How's My Driving" (Teen omitted).

How many stickers can I get?

You can select up to 4 stickers per membership.
